Kingsclere Nurseries was established in 1986, by mother and daughter partnership Sylvia & Julia Cox. 

Sylvia has five other children, 22 years midwifery experience and for 10 years from 1957 ran the first nursery in Berkshire. 
 
Julia trained as a nursery nurse in 1985 and nannied before starting the nursery with her mother, she has since married and has three children of her own.
 
Over the years several other family members have joined and helped to build on the excellent reputation.
 
We operate seven nurseries in Berkshire. 
 
We aim to maintain our high standard and quality of childcare throughout all our establishments.
 
Recent surveys of other local childcare providers have shown that our fee rates are extremely competitive, we recommend that you assess the quality of childcare by visiting one or more of our nurseries. 

 
We now offer FREE Nursery Education Grant funded 2 ½ hour sessions to eligible 3 & 4 year-old children; more details are available on our NEG sessions page
